How to check the Fengshui in your home
1. For the whole house especially the sitting room: It's good to keep your sitting rooms and bedrooms bright, eg. by keeping the curtains open more and not putting big furniture in front of windows. And remember to make sure that the fresh air can go through your house easily. Also check and see if the stairs in your house are toward the house's front door. If it is, because it may be hard to change this fact, you can try to use some kind of folding screens or big plants to block the stairs. 2. For the bedroom: Check the mirrors: Lay down on your bed and see if you can see any mirror facing the direction of the bed that you can see yourself in it. If it is, change the place of the mirror immediately because this is a big problem in Fengshui. It's even worse if the mirror is toward a double bed or bigger. Check on top of the bed: Lay down flat on your bed, look at the ceiling and see if any objects stick out from the ceiling anywhere above where you may sleep. For example, there may be a big light hanging over the top of the bed. Try to remove the objects as it will be better for your health. 3. For office or study room: It's the best that your back is not facing any big windows, but even if you do and you can't really change that, then try to keep the curtains closed or use something to block the windows. The above suggestions are really just my personal opinion, but to me, it seems all logical and reasonable. One more suggestion. It's good to keep your house or office tidy and clean all the time as you will feel more comfortable to stay. Fengshui, is not some kind of dead rule that you will need to follow; it's about how to arrange things to make yourself feel more comfortable. No matter what kind of structure your house has or how you put everything in your room, the most important thing is that you like it and you are comfortable. The most important is keep healthy and be happy ^0^! Nancy Sep 15, 2003 Click here to know more about Fengshui |
