GuiLin China 中国桂林
Last Chinese National day, our family spent five days travelling to the city, where it has been said that it has the best views of mountains and water in China. This special city which is a place that each year many travellers around the world go to is called "Gui Lin" - the city of "Shan Shui". Shan Shui means "mountains and water".
I saw so many westerners there during my travelling - more than I expected to see in a city of China. I talked to several of them, and they enjoyed their visit there very much. I also found a lot of interesting decorations and playing stuff, all at good prices. But it's a very important thing here that you must remember that when you buy something from a market in China, you must try to bargain, otherwise you may find that you buy something that you've paid about 2 times or more than the real price. I didn't mean that they are bad to try to sell them at a higher price, it's just the way that the markets work. But in short, it's a great place to visit. Even the US President Bill Clinton visited Guilin when he made his first visit to China in 1998. So maybe you should go to have a look at how beautiful the mountains and the water there are sometime too! For more information on how to bargain, click here. (In Chinese)俗话有云"桂林山水甲天下"-我很同意这个说法! <<Click to enlarge picture 点击来放大图片>> |
