Guangzhou (Formerly Canton) 中国广州
Guangzhou, which is one of the three biggest International Cities in China, it's the place I grow up from the age of 5. In China, people have a say: " Shi Zai Guangzhou (In Chinese: 食在广州)". It means if you want to eat in China, then go to Guangzhou. That true, you can find different food from almost everywhere in the world and they all taste very nice. There are some comments from a westner of Auckland after visiting Guangzhou:
"I loved it because the city is so crazy. Crossing the street is more exciting than Disney Land. It feels like lots of action happening, people moving everywhere, people yelling things, food everywhere... fantastic! The food there was great - it just tastes different from even the most authentic Chinese restaurants in Western countries. It also has lots of nice areas, like the grand buildings around the sports center (one is about 70 levels, which I'll have to go up next time) in the middle of Guangzhou, and very nice areas along the Pearl River. I saw security guards everywhere. Even going along on the Hong Kong to Guangzhou Express train I saw a man in military uniform, not even near a station, just standing next to tracks facing the train. Other things I saw were buildings held together by bamboo, a man in a business suit standing on a huge pile of rubbish, and many other unforgettable scenes. I'm going back as soon as I can" So, what more can I say :-)? 我五岁的时候就从我的家乡顺德大良搬到了广州,我爱广州-她是一个美丽而又具有现代化色彩的大城市! <<Click to enlarge picture 点击来放大图片>> |
