"Wen Gu Er Zhi Xin"

KongZhi from 2500 years ago
He is one of my guides!
I like to just keep listening to people, even though I may already know what they are going to say or I already understand what they are trying to show or tell me. But I would choose to listen rather than say "I know!" This is because I believe that although I may know it, if I try to listen again I will learn some new points from it, and some extra information that I could add to my knowledge.

And this is why I love a great Chinese ancient saying "Wen Gu Er Zhi Xin." which was said by "KongZhi" who is one of the most respectful educationalist about two thousand five hundred years ago because this sentence indicates exactly what I am trying to say!
  • "Wen Gu" means to review the old things (knowledge etc)
  • "Er" means then, you will
  • "zhi" means know, to understand
  • "Xin" means new, new things (knowledge etc)

So does it make sense to you?
